storyboard + moodboard

I began by drawing out a simple storyboard to figure out the timing of the visuals that I wanted to incorporate. I also created a moodboard to figure out the style and color palette for the project. 

assets

I created the characters and other assets for the project on Adobe Illustrator. I had to create different layers for the parts that I wanted to have movement including the arms, head, and eyes. After creating the assets, I assembled them onto After Effects. I animated the characters using the puppet pin and transform tools on After Effects.  

reflection

I learned a lot about how to animate characters and objects using the puppet pin tool in Adobe After Effects. While assembling the assets on After Effects, I realized I spent a lot of time creating assets that were not really needed for the animation process. However, this project gave me a better understanding of what types of assets are needed when animating characters and objects.
